When you sign in with Sign in with Apple, we create an account tied to the identifier Apple provides. We ask you to add:

Location Data
With your consent, Cena uses your device's location to bias restaurant search results toward places near you. This happens on your device through Apple Maps; your location is never sent to or stored on our servers. You can enable or disable this at any time via device settings.
Photos and Calendar
If you add a profile photo, Cena requests access to your photo library to let you pick one. If you tap "Add to calendar," the standard Apple calendar composer opens; Cena does not read or store your calendar.
What Your Group Can See
Cena is built for a small group of friends to play together. Your name, photo, picks, and scores are visible to the other members of any group you're part of — that's how the game works. We do not share this information outside your group, and we do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties for marketing. Cena has no ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking SDKs.
How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
Data Storage and Retention
Your data is securely stored using Supabase, our backend service provider, hosted in the United States. We retain your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Data Deletion and Account Removal
You can delete your account at any time from within the Application (Account → Delete account). Deleting your account removes your name and photo, signs you out everywhere, and permanently blocks that account from signing in again. Because a dinner's history and scores belong to everyone in the group who took part, they aren't erased when one member leaves — they stay visible to your groups, attributed to “Deleted user,” instead of being deleted outright. You can also request account deletion by contacting us at njpappas97@gmail.com.
Children's Privacy
Cena is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including database access rules that limit each group's data to its own members. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
